Cafe Chino - When I am working in the South 59 area at lunch time, I go to Cafe Chino's, it is one of my favorite chinese restaurants.
Their General Tso's is fantastic. I also like their Walnut Chicken. Spring rolls, soups, all have been delicious.
It is moderately priced.
Bing's Asian Bistro - OMG! This place has great food! Located on FM 1097 on the north side of the main part of Lake Conroe, this is worth the drive if you are in the area. Coming back from Dallas on I-45??? Turn right (West) on 1097 in Willis and drive 4.4 miles. (On the left in the strip mall right after the first small bridge over the lake.)
Try their Crispy Honey covered Shrimp or their Asparagus Beef dinner. The Hot and Sour soup for two feeds four! Everything I have had there is delicious.
I live on Lake Conroe and this is the best restaurant to open in this area in a long while.

Shanghai River Chinese Restaurant - 2407 Westheimer - River Oaks Excellent - Superb. Enough said!
Szechwan Garden - When I am in the Clear Lake/League City area, I try to get by Szechwan Garden on 518 (Main Street) in League City. Between I 45 and Hwy 3, this neighborhood Chinese restaurant is a winner.
Great soups. I recommend them all.
Their main dishes are served family style for dinner. Their Beef and Broccoli in garlic sauce is one of my favorites along with their General Tso. Family owned and operated, the locals love this place.
